Reuniting an orphan
I have a song ripped from a cdg disc in my kJams Music Folder. It has played in the past and we have accessed it from the main kJams program in the normal way without problem. Now however it does not show up when we search for it in kJams. I am not sure why or how I can get it to reappear in the lis...

Re: How many songs make a decent collection?
I have collected 1,940 Karaoke Tracks. And have a put together a pretty decent catalog using cut & paste into Apple's numbers database. A little heavy on 70's & 80's but hey that's what I like to sing/listen to. What do the rest of you have in your collection? I would like to do general audience ka...

Marshall
May I just ask where the songs came from originally? Have you got them on CD? Are they proper Karaoke discs that give you the words on the TV screen or just plain CDs with musical backings on them?

You gotta love the word "snarky"
Is is your own or is it another Americanism that I have not met before?
Re: Skins
Dave, have you thought of adding different skins to the GUI? Sometimes the white is WAY too bright. Yes I can lower the brightness on my screen, but then I can't see anything else. Just a question of possibility. Keep up the work! You still RAWK in my book. Just one more (slightly daft) suggestion....

Re: :)
I plan to be around for a long while yet. if i'm suddenly whisked away in a UFO, however, my will states that all serial number activations be permanently unlocked so kJams will function forever. If your mac fails or you get a new one i will gladly reset your activations any time. Great new on all ...

What happens if Dave is taken ill?
More and more of my business is reliant on kJams. So much so that I am starting to become concerned about all my eggs in one basket. Obviously my current set up will continue for the life of my computer. However if my HDD/iMac fails and I have to replace it, will kJams still work? Will it need anoth...

iPhone app. store.
I was just wondering. Do you have any irons in the iPhone fire Dave?
Maybe a kJams remote? Maybe an app that lets the customers browse the songs on the KJs computer via their iPhones?
Just wondering.

Tweak for searching.
Hi Dave. I have all my discs labelled with an Album name such as CK 0006. Always the same, two letters and four numbers. If I want to search for a disc I type CK OOO6 into the search box and kJams provides me with a list of all the tracks on that disc. So far so good. The problem comes if I have ano...

As far as I know there is no spywear or malware out in the wild for the Mac platform at the moment. There was a fuss recently that some porn site or other had malware. It was some app pretending to be a Quicktime plugin needed to watch something raunchy. Even that though needed you to type in your A...
