So my boss purchased one of those microphones with tons of really bad midi versions of karaoke songs for emergencies and incase I cannot make it to work one night. The device allowed for the tacky echo and reverb to be turned off, but here was the cool part...
There was a competition mode...
It listened to your pitch, diction, volume and kept a running score. At the end, it gave you your average score at the end of the song.
PROGRAMMERS!!! I WOULD BUY THIS IN A HEART BEAT as a plugin for kjams.
Is it even possible?

yes it's possible, and you're right it would be a plugin. but no, i'm not going to be doing that for version 1.0
