New tracks playing out of order

I add several tracks to the library at one time (Lets say 6 tracks)
Then double click the first track in the main library to check it plays
It does play so I hit the forward arrow
The first track from the original library plays, not the second in the library

ie
These tracks are already in the library
Track 5469
Track 5468
Track 5467
Track 5466

I add 6 tracks and the new library looks like this

Track 5477
Track 5476
Track 5475
Track 5474
Track 5473
Track 5472
Track 5471
Track 5470
Track 5469
Track 5468
Track 5467
Track 5466

I then double click track 5477, It plays
then hit the forward key to play Track 5476 but Track 5469 plays

Also if at this point If hit cmd stop and then double click Track 5476 I get the message You must have one song selected to play

what are you sorted by? are you in the Library? in Rotation? in a playlist?

I'm in the library. When tracks are added the library window appears with the new tracks listed, If I double click the First track it plays, If I click forward the second track should play, But it doesn't
