Change song order

Bugs are getting harder to find these days but I've found one. I feel pleased with myself to find one, but you can bet Dave already knows about it. Here goes,

When singer A is singing a song and I then realize singer B has the same song as their next song, I can't change the order of singer B's list until singer A has finished their track.

please detail the exact steps you take, and where it goes wrong, leaving nothing out, eg:

this is what i did:
start a rotation with two singers, A and B, each having several songs in their "tonight" lists
singer A is the first singer, singer B comes right after them
while singer A's song is going, select singer B's Tonight list
make sure it is sorted by #
drag singer B's top song down below the other songs. the song at #1, drag it and drop it on top of say song #4
--> it worked fine

I haven't got my HD connected at the moment but what you did is the same except for the bracketed bit

start a rotation with two singers, A and B, each having several songs in their "tonight" lists (but both have the same song as their first song)
singer A is the first singer, singer B comes right after them
while singer A's song is going, select singer B's Tonight list
make sure it is sorted by #
drag singer B's top song down below the other songs. the song at #1, drag it and drop it on top of say song #4

are you sure you're dropping it ON the below item? not above it, not below it, but right ON it, so it hilites?

I've just looked again and I found that when a singer A is singing Hey Jude, if singer B has Hey Jude in their tonight list I cannot move it at all. As soon as I stop Hey Jude playing I can move the song about.

I thought it was only happening when both singers had the song at the top of the list, but I just discovered that it doesn't matter where the song is in singer B list. I can move all the other songs about but not the same tittle as the song being played.

I use a MacBook Pro and thats where I origanaly found the problem, but I have a KJ working for me using a Mini Mac and last night I asked her to try the sinario. She said she had the same problem. Both computers are using 1.0d50r13 because of the problem as mentioned in the thread Checking singer as here

Well you think the thing with the mobile phone was weeerd! The change song order problem's gone away.
Last weekend I put a song in a tonight list twice, when the 1st one was playing I could move all the others but not the dup. I'm on the MacBook Pro now so I'll check the Mini Mac out tomorrow.

Still got the problem on my mini mac and the macbook pro (I thought I'd got rid of the problem with the laptop but I was wrong)
If you want to see the problem I'll contact you in office hours, let me know
When I try to move the track in the tonight folder for the singer thats not singing I get the message "Can't re-order the currently playing song"

PS I'm still using version 1.0d50r14 but I had the same problem with version 1.0d50r15 and when I updated to version 1.0d50r16 I had the problem described in Bug reports/

sorry but i'm not able to reproduce this problem. please give me very specific and detailed steps i can take to reproduce the bug. here's what i do:

run kjams
drag 5 songs into singer "alpha"
drag same 5 songs into singer "dave"
select "rotation" playlist
press play -> first song "foo" starts playing (singer "alpha")
select singer "dave"
drag song "foo" and drop it onto any song after the 2nd song (eg: drop it on song #3)
--> it works no problem
