The wiki doesn't specifically mention this... It just seems to talk about the 3 streaming tiers.
So, it appears that only if you purchase the 1,200 / year streaming membership are you allowed to play the songs at commercial shows.
If you just purchase the songs for 1.99 each, you cannot. Is this correct?

Doesn't sound like you can to me (I contacted them as well, and they said it's ok.) However, the fact that the 'legalese' doesn't say I can... makes me a tad nervous. (for obvious reasons) *looks at the lawsuits being tossed around*Usage Rules

I've contacted them about it, we'll see what they say.
Update: They will rewrite the legalese on the web site so it is clear that "downloads [are] good for public performance, provided [that the] KJs or venue have ASCAP [membership]"
