Hello,
I am trying out kJams Lite for the first time -- actually, it is my first time doing any sort of karaoke disk copying, ripping, etc. I have a large collection of CD+Gs and want to convert them to video but I want to make sure that I'm actually able to pull this off before purchasing the software.
I'm on an iMac and think that my machine is able to read CD+Gs -- I am able to play the tracks in kJams and see the lyrics as well as hear the audio. Nonetheless, I'm getting the error message: "There was an I/O error reading the disc, perhaps it is scratched?" Any advice on what I should try next would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Sarah

is the disc scratched? try to buff the disc (Radially, away from the center, not circular, around the center) with a microfiber cloth
if it's not scratched, try checking "ignore cdg ripping errors" in the prefs
